Golden Valley senior golfer Amanda Hobbs will continue her golf career at Biola University, according to Grizzlies head golf coach Tony Moskal.

Moskal said Hobbs plans on signing a letter of intent to play for the La Mirada school, which plays in the National Association of Interscholastic Athletics (NAIA).

Hobbs is the only golfer in school history to twice make the CIF individual golf postseason.

She was a four-year varsity golfer and the most decorated individual golfer in school history.

Hobbs helped lead the Grizzlies to their first-ever CIF team postseason this year when Golden Valley finished third overall in Foothill League play — the program’s highest finish ever.

This also makes Hobbs the first Golden Valley golfer to sign on with a four-year school out of high school in program history.
