Station 126 firefighters and sheriff's deputies responded to a traffic collision at 8:20 p.m. Friday night on the corner of Magic Mountain Parkway and Valencia Boulevard.

Witnesses saw a female driver of a black Scion run a red light driving about 80 mph northbound on Valencia without her lights on, according to the report filed by Deputy J. Garcia.

The driver collided with a silver Nissan while making a left-hand turn onto Valencia Boulevard, according to the report.

Garcia said alcohol was detected on the breath of the driver of the Scion and may have been a factor in the accident.

The drivers of both cars were taken to the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.
