The city of Santa Clarita's Blue Ribbon Task Force is currently accepting names to be placed in the city's Youth Grove Memorial in Central Park. The deadline for submissions is Monday, Feb. 9, 2009.
Since 1980, more than 100 Santa Clarita youths lost their lives to traffic related incidents.
The Youth Grove provides a safe, centralized location for community members to remember loved ones lost.
It is a grass-roots effort supported by the city and the Blue Ribbon Task Force dedicated to Santa Clarita youth 24 years of age and younger who have died in traffic-related incidents.
