Gregory C. Marotta has been named as senior vice president of national operations for Valencia-based U.S. HealthWorks. He assumes his new position Sunday.

Marotta previously served as senior vice president of operations, east division, for the national occupational health center organization. With 22 years of health care operations experience, he joined U.S. HealthWorks in 2004.

Prior to U.S. HealthWorks, he served as vice president ambulatory services at Kessler Rehab Corp. in New Jersey. Prior to that, he served as head athletic trainer for St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, N.J. Marotta earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education and Athletic Training from Kean University.

U.S. HealthWorks is emerging as the national leader in occupational medicine, said Daniel D. Crowley, CEO of U.S. HealthWorks. The addition of a national head of field operations will support efforts to create a ‘U.S. HealthWorks way,’ he said.

“I’m excited at the prospect of leading our firm in the direction that Mr. Crowley has outlined — to promote best practices and implement change that will support the best standards of care,” Marotta said. “Together with our medical leadership, we will focus on efficient delivery of quality care and superior customer service.”
