Truck fire on 405 slows traffic

A truck fire reduced Sunday morning traffic to a crawl on Interstate 405 near Rinaldi Street, fire officials confirmed.
No one was injured in the incident, according to the California Highway Patrol.
About 9 a.m., a Toyota pickup truck caught on fire on the right shoulder of northbound lanes of the freeway, CHP reported.
CHP officers closed two lanes for 40 minutes while Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters put out the fire.
All lanes were opened by 9:40 a.m.
