Pet Assistance brings a Santa Clarita Valley holiday tradition to life on Dec. 2, or Dec. 8, at two different locations this year.

Residents can bring a pet or pets — Rover, Puff or even Croaky the Frog — to have a photo taken with Santa on either of those two dates.

Funds collected through the event go to support the Pet Assistance pet support organization.

The photo opportunity Dec. 2 runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pet Supply on the northeast corner of Bouquet and Seco canyon roads in Saugus. On Dec. 8, pet lovers can have their Christmas greeting photos taken at Pet Stop at its new location in the Stater Brothers shopping center on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country.
