At least two people were injured in a two-car crash at the intersection of Valencia Boulevard and Cinema Drive earlier this afternoon.
The crash occurred when one car rear-ended another, according to a witness. At least two people, one of them a child, were transported from the scene in ambulances.
Sgt. Brian Allen with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said traffic became congested at the intersection for a short time. All debris from the crash were cleared and all lanes of Valencia Boulevard were open as of 2 p.m.
Allen said it did not appear that the crash had resulted in any “dire” injuries.
“But I was amazed at amount of car parts left in road,” Allen said.
