Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s deputies arrested a man at gunpoint Tuesday morning near the busy intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road.

About 10:45 a.m., deputies stopped a suspect sought in connection with a domestic violence call earlier in the morning, said Lt. Mark Hershey.

“We stopped a car in the area of Del Taco and arrested a man for domestic violence,” Hershey said.

No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

“He was cooperative during the arrest,” Hershey said.
