It’s Thanksgiving week? Already? Black Friday looms and Christmas is merely weeks away. Hang on and get ready for 2013!

Festival of Trees

If you’ve not made your way over to Valencia Town Center and the Festival of Trees venue you are missing one of the great holiday traditions of the Santa Clarita Valley. This year’s crop of beautifully decorated trees are among the best ever presented, in addition the 100-plus gingerbread houses fill the space with the warm scent of the holidays and are delight to view. I am always impressed at the imagination and variety of materials used to cleverly decorate these small masterpieces! The tabletop trees are always fun, too. I always enjoy seeing the SCV high school trees! To find out the hours of operation (which change daily) visit www.scvbgc.org.

Holiday boutiques

It’s the holiday season and in addition to donating, gifting and giving, there is also shopping, shopping , shopping. What better place to find unique and fun gifts than at the numerous fundraising holiday boutiques around the SCV!
