Canyon football defeated San Luis Obispo 42-9 last Friday in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division playoffs. This Friday, the Cowboys get an Atascadero that made shockwaves by defeating No. 1 seed Palmdale in the first round. Fortunate or not, the Cowboys travel far north for the game that begins at 7:30 p.m. Canyon head coach Rich Gutierrez discusses the game ahead, last week's win, a defensive turnaround and record-breaking receiver Drew Wolitarsky. |
