Two natives of Newhall were recently named to Academic Honors List for the 2007 fall semester at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas.

Larissa Perkins and Scott Perkins were both named to the President's List. They are the daughter and son of Steve and Karen Perkins.

Larissa is double major in math and secondary education. Scott is majoring in liberal arts. Students must earn a 4.0 grade average to be named to the President's List.
