‘Monster School’ on stage at Fair Oaks

Students in the after school Stagecraft enrichment program at Fair Oaks Ranch Community School performed in an original play "Monster School" on Nov. 7.

 

Halloween was over, but monsters still roamed the multipurpose room at Fair Oaks Ranch Community School in Canyon Country on Nov. 7. “Monster School” — an original comedy written by the founder of the Stagecraft after school enrichment program at Fair Oaks Ranch, Dennis Poore — was performed for parents, family and friends at a 7 p.m. performance held on the school’s MPR stage.

More than 40 students participated in the program: Rohit Pulipaka, Alyssa Leonesio, Ranan Haynes, Jimmy Warshawsky, Simon Saddy, Cameryn Roman, Owen Kinney, Austin Treahy, Daniel Callison, Nate Groves, Aaliyah Corona, Elizabeth Martinez, Meri Muro, Lianne M. Calvo, Megan Ballou, Natalia Garabet, Alicia Reinhold, Taylor Zierhuet, Owen Kliever, Cristy Bustalino, Ashleigh Azarraga, Maddox Preece, Michelle Austria, Abigial Jauregui, Agatha Felix, Meri Muro, Leila Tieng, Mai Tae Preece, Sridula Senthil, Taylor Treahy, Lara Gumatay, Kendall Leonesio, India Watson, Jane Ramirez, Maegan Buela, Valeria Aguirre, Cassidy Calara, Gunner Snodgrass, Parker Levine, Angela Rameriz, Lauren Lising, Kirsten Mendoza

An original song was written for the performance by sixth grade student Jimmy Warshawsky. A parent volunteer, Todd Reinhold, also appeared in the production.
