Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s deputies were looking for two men who stole a large knife, a snowboarding jacket and socks from a sporting goods store Monday afternoon.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., two men entered Dick’s Sporting Goods on Carl Boyer Drive and left with the items, a spokesman for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said.
Deputies were treating the incident as a petty theft.
They are looking for a suspect described as a white man, about 6-foot-4, wearing a light gray sweatshirt, a dark-colored beanie, jeans and a snowboarding jacket.
There was no detailed description of the other suspect.
The two fled the store in a dark-colored Chevy Tahoe, according to deputies.
