Jake Tanner of Santa Clarita will host a book-signing and food-sampling event at noon Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 23630 Valencia Blvd. in Valencia. The event will feature samples of food prepared by Tanner from his cookbook “Stick It in Your Pie Hole, a book of California Cuisine.” Proceeds from the event will benefit food charities in the Santa Clarita Valley.
