The city of Santa Clarita will hold its Veterans Day Ceremony Sunday at 11 a.m. in Veterans Historical Plaza in Newhall.

The event will begin with a reading of names of American servicemen and women who are prisoners of war or missing in action and will also include performances from local musicians.

Some speakers at the event will include members of the Santa Clarita City Council and local veterans. Navy veteran and local resident Duane Harte will serve as master of ceremonies for the event.
