Canyon football redeemed itself in a big way last Friday with a 17-14 win over preseason Foothill league favorite Hart.

With the win, the Cowboys finished second in the Foothill League.

Now Canyon hosts run-heavy San Luis Obispo of the Pac-7 League in the first-round of the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division playoffs on Friday at 7 p.m.
