A local stretch of road that’s seen at least three motorcycle crashes since the summer saw two more Sunday afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

On Sunday at 12:50 p.m., a motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle on San Francisquito Canyon Road at Dry Gulch Road, said CHP Sgt. Pack.

The operator, a man, suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment, he said.

In a second unrelated crash, less than 20 minutes after the first crash, a motorcyclist and an Acura collided on the same road, also at Dry Gulch.

“He went to the hospital with minor injuries,” Pack said about the motorcyclist in the later crash.

On Oct. 10, a motorcyclist failed to make a sharp turn on San Francisquito Canyon Road, six miles north of Copper Hill Drive near the Drinkwater Flats off-roading area, and slid across 70 feet of rough pavement on the snaking roadway.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with multiple abrasions to the knees and elbows, a CHP officer said at the time.
