Letter: Don’t be intimidated by speeders

In response to “SCV speed limits shift” in The Signal on Oct. 25:

Speed limits mean nothing to most motorists because they feel that they own the road, and they don’t want you to infringe on their space. They are reckless in their driving, actions and thinking and have no manners.

Point in fact: Motorists tailgate to intimidate you to move over and honk their horns when trying to make a left turn or right turn.

Their feeling about this is that you don’t have the right to do this on their time or their space.

Their distasteful and frustrated gestures, and each one is different, are laughable and entertaining. They are selfish, self-centered, impatient, rude and diffidently arrogant.

Be smart be safe and let the jocks go on their merry way.
