Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers’ 10th Annual Rubber Ducky Festival raised more than $92,000 for patient care in the Santa Clarita Valley, organizers said Friday.

Some of the money raised at the event came from sponsors, including Boston Scientific, Kaiser Permanente, Santa Clarita Valley Rotary Club, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

The event also raised money from duck “adoptions” for the festival’s trademark race.

More than 3,000 ducks were raced at the event, according to Teresa Todd of Point of View Communications, a local marketing and public relations group that also sponsored the event.
