Into the wild

I have been concerned over the years about the three federally listed endangered species in the Santa Clarita Valley.

These animals have been affected by the mining operations, traffic, loss of habitat and more.

Because of this, I was delighted to hear that wilderness legislation was introduced into the Senate recently.

By placing several local areas into wilderness, especially Magic Mountain, the Arroyo Southwestern Toad, Least Bell's Vireo and Unarmored Three Spine Stickleback have another fighting chance to survive.
