The Saugus High School dance team will host its yearly dance clinic for boys and girls grades kindergarten through 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 17.

The clinic will include an opportunity for the boys and girls who attend to learn from the national award winning Saugus dancers.

They will be taught a dance combination, get their hair and makeup done, play games and have pizza for lunch.

At the end of the clinic the boys and girls will show off their new skills with a performance for friends and family.

Girl Scout troops can earn their dance badge by attending this dance clinic.

No experience is necessary to participate and all dancers will receive a T-shirt, lunch and drinks for a $30 entry fee to the dance team.

The dance team is self-supporting and all money earned will help pay for competition and choreography fees.

The members of the Saugus Dance Team took home three national titles last year and are looking forward to another great season.

This year’s team includes Captains: Taylor Friedman, Roxanna Haserjian, and Katie Lin, Co-Captains: Brittany Dubron, Meagan Foertsch, Torey Itaya, and Ian Waschak.

Juniors: Monica Bowcott, Emily Garwood, Taylor Harrington, Michelle Janossy, Alison Lutes, Tiffany Mazucca and Lauren Schreiner.

Sophomores: Eliza Baron, Maddie Fox, Mariah Givens, Kellie Shanaghan, Hannah Thomas and Ashley Traber, and Freshmen: Lizzy Friedman, Ella Garcia, Allie Groscost, Emily Lin and Delaney Young.

A registration form is currently available on the team website at www.saugusdance.org under “Documents” or call Laura Traber at 661-296-6258 for further information.

Walk-ins are welcome.
