A brushfire off of San Francisquito Canyon Road prompted swift reaction from county firefighters Wednesday afternoon, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

At 2 p.m., the department received a report of trees on fire off of San Francisquito, north of Copper Hill Drive about  two miles north of “Fire Camp” station #14," he said.

“At 2:22 (p.m.) we had reports of trees on fire covering a quarter acre with the fire running uphill,” the spokesman said.
