City officials will hold Santa Clarita’s annual State of the City luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Hyatt Regency Valencia’s grand ballroom.
The event will mark the city’s 25th anniversary with the theme “Cheers to 25 Years: The Best Is Yet to Come.”
The State of the City luncheon provides public updates for ongoing projects, such as the Canyon Country Community Center and the Santa Clarita Public Library, and highlights upcoming projects, such as the addition of new fields at Central Park and a new park-and-ride facility for city commuters.
The luncheon costs $40 per person, or $400 for a table of 10, and includes a commemorative gift.
The event is open to the public with advanced reservations. Tickets can be reserved online by visiting the city's website at http://www.santa-clarita.com or by calling 661-255-4939.
