Acrylic painting demo at Artists’ Association

An acrylic painting by Helene Jukoff who will present at the Santa Clarita Artists' Association Monday meeting.

 

Helene Jukoff will demonstrate acrylic painting with a knife at the Monday meeting of the Santa Clarita Artists’ Association. The public is invited.

Having taught as a California credentialed art teacher for four decades, Jukoff is comfortable in all mediums and will discuss color theory in general and the particular aspects of handling the benefits and drawbacks of acrylic paint.

She has traveled extensively and often bases her paintings on sketches and photos from more then 50 countries.

Many of them are illustrations in her full-color book, Pathways to Creativity.

The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association meets at 6:30 p.m. at Barnes and Noble, 23630 Valencia Blvd., Valencia. Come early, standing room only at 6:30 p.m. For more information visit www.SantaClaritaArtists.org.
