Benjamin and Christina Elsass

Christina Rudzinski and Benjamin Elsass were joined in the sacrament of marriage on July 31, 2011, in the Estes Park area of Colorado.

The ceremony was officiated by Catholic priest Father Martin Hunkler.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Anne Marie Rudzinski of Canyon Country, where she grew up, attending Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Alemany High
School, and then graduating from California State University, Northridge.

The bride is the granddaughter of Richard and Catherine Enders, and Richard (in attendance) and Stelle Rudzinski.

The groom is the son of Myron and Deborah Elsass of Springboro, Ohio.

He is the grandson of Roger and Ethel Elsass, and Herman and Montzell Huber.

The groom grew up in Springboro, Ohio, attending Springboro High School, and graduating from Miami of Ohio University.

The Maid of Honor was MaryRose Rudzinski, sister of the bride, of Canyon Country.

The Best Man was B. J. Smallwood of Westchester, Ohio.

Bridesmaids included Angela Knolls, of Saugus; Diane Vitale, of Valencia; Collette Wieland, of Portland, Ore.; Dana Cook, of Chicago, Ill.; Kristina Rodriguez, of Los Angeles and Monika Halverson, of Northridge.

Groomsmen were Andrew Elsass, brother of the groom, of Springboro, Ohio; Corey Ritenour, of Chicago, Ill.; Brendan O’Neill, of Noblesville, Ind. and Doug Reid, of Pasadena.

Erin Elsass, sister of the groom, of Springboro, Ohio served as greeter and crafted the invitations, programs and menus.

Ushers were Richard Rudzinski, brother of the bride, of San Diego, and Joseph Rudzinski, brother of the bride, of State College, Penn.

A touching moment during the ceremony was when the couple brought a red rose to each of the parents and attending grandparent to represent the grandparents who were unable to attend.

The reception was held at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park and was attended by nearly 100 family and friends. The reception celebration went on into the evening and included great food, good music (with plenty of ’80s selections), and many well-wishes from those in attendance.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Antigua this past January and now reside in Chicago, where Christina currently works for a media advertising company, and Benjamin owns a photography business.
