Due to rain in the Santa Clarita Valley on Thursday, sporting events were postponed.

Thursday’s scheduled Foothill League cross country meet, the second meet of the season, was postponed.

This was also the case for two girls tennis matches — West Ranch against Saugus and Valencia against Canyon.

Makeup dates have not been set, but all are likely to happen next week.
