COC Canyon Country Campus to host fall Star Party

The College of the Canyons Canyon Country campus’ fall semester Star Party will be held 7-9:30 p.m. Friday in the Canyon Country campus’ Carl A. Rasmussen Amphitheater.

Admission is free of charge and open to the public.

At the event, guest speaker Dr. Steve B. Howell, deputy project scientist for the NASA Kepler Space Mission, will lead a discussion titled “The NASA Kepler Mission and Recent Exoplanet Discoveries,” according to a COC news release.
