Blair Marcus Proulx died on a private road after a motorcycle crash in Saugus on Friday evening, said sheriff’s officials.

A traffic investigator examined the scene of a crash Friday night, where Proulx died on Alta Knoll Drive at 6:05 p.m., said Lt. Bill Weiss of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Proulx fell from his motorcycle down a steep hill, he said.

Officials are still investigating whether the crash was caused by a possible medical issue or another reason.

Proulx's wife said he had some medical issues, Weiss said.

No other vehicles were involved.

A coroner’s autopsy is pending to determine the official cause of death, said sheriff’s Lt. Eric Lasko.

Proulx was driving his dirt bike on the road, Lasko said.
