The Los Angeles Universal Preschool is hosting a candidate forum for local political hopefuls from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the American Legion Post 507 in Newhall. Confirmed attendees include Rep. Howard “Buck” McKeon, R-Santa Clarita; his Democratic challenger, Lee Rogers; Steve Knight, Republican candidate for state Senate District 21; Star Moffatt, Democratic candidate for state Senate District 21; and Edward Headington, Democratic candidate for the 38th Assembly District.
