Join Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley at the ninth Annual Bras for a Cause event to “Salute Our Hometown Heroes” at The Oaks Grille in the Tournament Players Club in Valencia.

The event will begin at noon and run until 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are $65 each and  can be purchased online at www.siscv.com or from any member of Soroptimists of SCV.

Your ticket includes appetizers, a drink ticket and a commemorative wine glass.

This unique event will feature a silent and live auction of decorated, hand-made lingerie art and a unique, hand-made quilt to honor breast cancer survivors.

In addition attendees will have a chance to bid on other silent auction items, and purchase tickets for beautiful raffle baskets while browsing through merchandise offered by vendors.

Guests will also have an opportunity to enter a chance to win a Napa Valley Wine Country Getaway to include: a deluxe hotel for three nights, a six-hour wine tour within Napa Valley via chauffeured limousine, and a three-hour gourmet dinner for two aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train.

A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center and Circle of Hope.

The Veloz Breast Imaging Center is on the campus of Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia. The center has been designated by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.

The center offers the latest in digital technology for mammograms.

Circle of Hope, Inc., was founded in 2004 by breast cancer survivor Colleen Shaffer. The nonprofit provides financial, emotional, and educational support services for uninsured and underinsured individuals with breast cancer.
