A “walking school bus” makes its way to Old Orchard Elementary School today as part of the valleywide “We Walk Wednesdays” drive led by Girl Scout Isabella Clark, above, and others to encourage Santa Clarita Valley residents to walk, not drive, to reduce emissions. The walk to Old Orchard today will be led by Principal Sandra Reveles starting at 7:45 a.m. and picking up students along the way. It’s timed to coincide with National Walk to School Day.
