For the second time in his decorated collegiate career, University of California, Berkeley senior Max Homa was named Pac-12 Golfer of the Month.
The Valencia graduate was named for September after posting two strong performances in Cal's first two tournaments of the season.

He finished two shots behind the winner of the PING/Golfweek Preview played outside of Atlanta last week for a tie for second place at even par. Two weeks before that, he also finished tied for second with a four-day score of 2-under at the Gopher Invitational in Wayzata, Minn.

The back-to-back second-place finished elevated Homa to No. 1 on this week's collegiate men's golf rankings. Homa is now the 22nd ranked amateur in the world.

Homa, a returning NCAA Division I All-American, was also named Pac-12 Golfer of the Month earlier this year in February.
