A motorist drove into a utility pole near Six Flags Magic Mountain shortly before noon today, California Highway Patrol officers reported.

CHP officers received reports of a red Prius having struck a pole just west of Magic Mountain Parkway and The Old Road at 11:22 a.m., a CHP officer said.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the crash at 11:33 a.m., but there were no reports of injury and no one was taken to the hospital, a Fire Department spokesman said.
