Former Indian named Player of Week

Hart High graduate Megan Ford was named Wilson California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 29 - January 3.
Ford, a freshman center at NCAA Division II Cal Poly Pomona, averaged 18 points and 9.5 rebounds in a pair of games during the week.
On Jan. 3 she scored 22 points, making 10-of-16 shots, and pulled down 10 rebounds in a 65-61 victory over Cal State Stanislaus.
On the season, Ford is averaging 11.1 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds per game.
Cal Poly Pomona is 8-5 overall and 4-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Lilley puts the hurt on UCLA
Taylor Lilley is back.
After missing the first six games of the season due to shin problems, the former Hart High guard, has come back to lead the Oregon Ducks in scoring in three of six games. The high point came Sunday, not to far from home.
Lilley scored 21 points at UCLA as her Ducks defeated the Bruins 73-56.
The Bruins were 10-2 coming into the contest.
The distance shooter is averaging 10.3 points per game this season for the Ducks, who are 4-8 overall and 1-1 in the Pac-10.

COC ends at No. 3
The College of the Canyons football ended its season ranked No. 3 in California by the California Community College Football Coaches Association, which released its final poll this week.
The Cougars finished with a 12-1 record, but lost 51-44 to Mt. San Antonio College in the Southern California Football Association Championship Dec. 6.
Going into the postseason, COC was ranked No. 1 by the CCCFCA.
