LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Police believe they've found a man who's been dumping dirty adult diapers on streets in Orange County after pulling over a 67-year-old man from an upscale neighborhood with several in his car.

Laguna Beach police Lt. Jason Kravetz tells City News Service officers were setting up surveillance in an area where diapers had been dumped when a man drove by and dropped a bag of them and fled. Police found an envelope in the bag that they traced to a medical office, which led them to start watching a multimillion-dollar Newport Coast home.

Investigators followed the man Tuesday, pulled him over and found dirty diapers in his passenger seat.

The man, whose name has not been released, was not arrested but police say they are pursuing a case with prosecutors.
