A motorcyclist and member of a reggae/rock band was treated at the scene of a near-collision today, and sheriff’s deputies were searching for the SUV whose driver cut him off on a Valencia street.
Kameren Neal of the band Kounterfeit Change was traveling west on Decoro Drive shortly before 10 a.m. when he was cut off by a motorist near Grandview Drive.
Neal and his 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan bike went skidding across four lanes of Decoro, a deputy said.
“It’s just so rude,” the band singer said, shaking his head. “They slowed down but they didn’t stop.”
The Valencia resident was treated by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics for several exposed and bleeding quarter-sized abrasions to his face, arms and hands.
“Right now we’re treating this as a hit and run and looking for the driver of a silver-colored SUV,” said the deputy in charge of the incident.
