As a Kaiser member and Santa Clarita Valley resident, I know first-hand how inconvenient Kaiser hospital facilities are. We've been begging Kaiser for a hospital in the SCV. Our pleas falls on deaf ears.

For care that involves more complicated tests, we have to truck to Panorama City, which is not the safest place to be, especially at night. The facility there may have new sections, but it is overcrowded with San Fernando Valley patients.

I don't give Kaiser any kudos just because they opened a small clinic in Canyon Country. We need a full-service hospital here in the Santa Clarita Valley.
