Looking for a wonderful canine companion? Adopt a dog from AngelDogs Foundation Deaf Dog Ranch in Acton. All of the dogs are fixed, up to date on shots, and trained using hand signals. Deaf dogs are highly intelligent and really bond with their owners. They make fantastic pets. Here are just a few of the dogs available at the ranch:

Little Benny, a Dogo Argentino/Jack Russell mix, has overcome a lot in his short life. He was surrendered to a rural California shelter because of his deafness and a broken leg. That leg is now healing up nicely. Benny is not just adorable, with a heart shape outline on his nose, he’s very sweet and smart, too. He’s playful, but not too rough, and gives great kisses. Benny would make a great addition to just about any family.

Spunky is the best word to describe this handsome puppy boy. Wally, a bull terrier mix, loves, loves, loves to play with other dogs and people, too. He has a very unique patch over one eye, ears to die for and looks a bit like Spuds McKenzie or the Target dog. Wally is very active and would require frequent walks or games of fetch. Wally is guaranteed to put a smile on your face with his puppy antics and will grow up to be a fine canine companion.

It’s hard not to love Willow. Just look at that smile! Willow’s tale is typical of deaf pups, she was surrendered at a shelter before we rescued her. Willow, a Dogo Argentino, is thriving at the ranch. She’s got the perfect puppy temperament — playful, yet gentle — and gets along great with other dogs. Willow is very affectionate and loves to be cuddled. Willow is an awesome pup who’s going to be an amazing dog.
