Due to recent winter weather conditions, the re-opening of the Interstate 5 southbound off-ramp and northbound on-ramp was extended to Jan. 13, according to city of Santa Clarita officials.

The closures are part of the city's intersection and freeway ramps expansion project.

Businesses in the surrounding construction areas remain open and detour signs are posted.
