Heather Nakamura, of Canyon Country, has been awarded a 2012/13 California Grocers Association Educational Foundation Gelson’s Market Scholarship in the amount of $1,000

Nakamura will attend California State Polytechnic University, Pomona this fall and major in management and human resources/international business and marketing.

Annual Foundation scholarships are awarded to college students who are either employees or dependents of employes of California Grocers Association member companies, such as the Gelson’s Market Scholarship.
