Steve Lunetta compared California's financial crisis with his mac 'n' cheese decisions when he was a struggling student ("Dems need to start a spending diet," Dec. 22.)

There is a very large difference between the two. He chose years ago to reach his educational goals at the cost of good food, thus being forced to eat many mac 'n' cheese meals.

He seems to be deciding today to forego California's educational goals for today's youth for his good food today.
