The city of Santa Clarita will host a job academy and mini job fair on Sept. 21 and Sept. 28 from 2-5:30 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Activities Center on Center Pointe Parkway.

Hosted by The Valley Industry Association, the event allows young job seekers to work with a panel of local employers to prepare for local entry-level employment through workshops and mock interviews.

The event will cover applications, when to apply and how to follow up.

A certificate of completion will be awarded to attendees that complete the two-day academy.

Employers include AMS Fulfillment, Mountasia, Old Navy, Exact Staffing and Job Corp.
