Local water officials are slated to hold their first public meeting of the new year today.

Members of the Castaic Lake Water Agency's Agenda Planning Committee are expected to discuss scheduling and other related issues at a meeting scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Rio Vista Water Treatment Plant on Bouquet Canyon Road overlooking Central Park.

A full meeting of the agency's board of directors is slated to begin immediately following the agenda meeting at 6:15 p.m.

The agency welcomes public input.

Those wishing to take part are expected to check in at the kiosk located at the Central Park entrance off of Bouquet Canyon.
