Local Democrats will celebrate the grand opening of the Santa Clarita Democratic headquarters 4-7 p.m. Thursday at 23566 Lyons Avenue at the corner of Lyons and Peachland in Newhall.

Candidates in the November election have been invited, including congressional candidate Lee Rogers, state Senator Fran Pavley, Senate candidate Star Moffatt, and Assembly candidates Edward Headington and Steve Fox.

Food and music will be available during the event, and volunteers will be sought to register voters at the Valencia Town Center or Stater Brothers in Canyon Country.
