$200 million for six years, $80 million for five years ... they may be great players but they are NOT worth that money.
Granted, they may not ever get the money, but just continuously flaunting it in the face of the general public - especially at the fans who support their game at this critical time in our economy - is the worst example of good public relations.
Even movie and entertainment stars have sort of "downplayed" their big salaries and got the message that we are tired of hearing about it. Mr. Mega Superstar might consider "sharing the wealth" with some less fortunate. Isn't this what our new president is preaching?
Just play and try getting paid for what you actually achieve ... like the rest of the "common folks" are trying to do.
