United Airlines is working to get its flights running on-time again after major computer problems caused widespread delays.
The airline appeared to have solved the technology problems by Tuesday evening, and its website was working again after being down.
However, passengers are still reporting long lines at some of its airports.
The airline will only say that it had a "network outage" and that it was trying to minimize the impact on its operations.
For a while Tuesday afternoon, United was holding flights to its hubs in San Francisco, Houston, and Newark, N.J. Flights were moving again by about 4:30 Central time.
United Continental Holdings Inc. has been struggling with computer issues ever since it combined some of its major computer systems in March.
