Two cars collided on southbound Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country this morning, blocking a lane of traffic for a time, but there were no reports of major injuries.

The collision at Soledad and Anne Freda Street was reported at 7:33 a.m., a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station sergeant said. The scene had been cleared by 10:30 a.m., officials said.

The collision blocked the No. 1 lane of southbound Soledad for a time before a gold-colored family-style minivan with the front end smashed could be removed from the scene.

There were no reports of major injuries from the crash.
