LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) — Two people are in jail after three pounds of methamphetamine, $7,000 and a handgun were found during a Southern California desert drug investigation.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrested 37-year-old Christopher Delgado and 34-year-old Angie Zaldavar and they were booked for investigation of narcotics possession.
A search warrant for a Lancaster apartment was obtained after deputies discovered Vicodin pills and a credit card skimming device in a car pulled over during a traffic stop last week.
A news release on Thursday says deputies found a hidden compartment in the floor of the apartment and it contained about $30,000 worth of methamphetamine.
