Letter: Mr. Figearo had it right in his column on CEOs

Mark Figearo’s letter published Aug. 17, “‘Straight talk from a CEO’ — seriously?” should be a major print for the Romney/Ryan campaign.

Mr. Figearo cites being a CEO-business owner who took his small company from a room in his home and growing it to a company of 40 people. Of special note is that he birthed and grew his company without loans (i.e. no default to cost taxpayers) and without government help ... irrespective of Obama’s declaration that “you didn’t build that business — someone else did,” i.e. the government.

Moreover, Mr. Figearo is not living lavishly and passing the bill onto the rest of us. I repeat the highly weighty and substantial statement of CEO Figearo: “I am a service provider, a profit manager and a cost eliminator. If I were not, nobody would have a job in our company.”

Just one more verification that we have more able and experienced men to be president of the United States right here in Santa Clarita than what we have residing in the White House.

I’ll take the man who signs the front of checks any day over a guy who only knows how to sign the back of a check (or debit-able from some freebie account). How about you?
