Road construction is scheduled to take place on Soledad Canyon Road between Prairie Lane and Poppy Meadow Street beginning Monday evening August 27, 2012 and continuing through mid-September as part of a roadway repaving project. Residents in the area and drivers who use this stretch of roadway should anticipate nighttime traffic delays Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

The project includes paving two separate layers of asphalt, with the top layer comprised of a new rubberized asphalt to strengthen the road and help reduce traffic noise.

Lane closures are expected during construction hours, with partial lane openings for through traffic. Drivers are encouraged to commute slowly and cautiously, as there may be loose gravel on Soledad Canyon Road until road paving is complete.

Residents should expect construction noise during nighttime construction hours.
